Oh no! 5 little ducklings try to swim past But the water underneath them moves too fast 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 little ducklings get swept into the gutter! Down in the sewer, they can’t see mother! Oh no! Quack quack! As soon as I see it from my seat on the porch I jump to my feet and drop my orange I pick up a net that I use to clean the pool With a long handle that’ll reach into the sewer I kneel on my knees in the middle of the puddle And I reach my pool net deep into the gutter And there’s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Ducklings in my net, scared but alive Oh yeah! I set them on the ground, safe again They quack so happy to be out of that drain They waddle to their Mama Duck and siblings down the road That’s 8 ducks on their way home
